Google's Gemini Hits 1B Monthly Active Users, Becomes Fastest-Growing Product

Google's Gemini has reached a significant milestone, with over 1 billion monthly active users (MAUs), making it the company's fastest-growing product to date. This achievement surpasses other popular Google products that have also hit this mark.

Gemini is an AI-powered chatbot that has integrated itself into various Google services, including Gmail and Drive, where it helps with organization and summary tasks. It has also become a core component of Google's flagship search experience, particularly through its AI Mode and Overviews features.

According to Josh Woodward, Google's VP overseeing Gemini, 63% of active users are leveraging voice input, while an increasing number are using 'voice-only' interactions. Additionally, 20% of those who use Gemini Live share their camera feeds and screens with the chatbot for assistance.
