Google's Pixel Series Gets a Boost: Is it Enough?

The latest Pixel series from Google has been unveiled, and it's an upgrade of the last generation, but is it enough? The new series includes the Pixel 11, Pro, Pro XL, and Fold.

One of the most notable features of the new series is the redesigned camera bar with edge-to-edge glass that feeds into the metal frame. The phones also come with an IP68 rating and run on a custom-designed Google Tensor G6 processor, which allows for more integration with Google's Gemini Intelligence.

Gemini Intelligence brings several new features to the table, including voice-to-text capabilities that can remove filler words such as 'um' and 'uh', and American Sign Language (ASL) translation. The Camera app also gets a new mode called Magic Capture, which allows users to capture a shot while recording video.

The Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL have improved cameras with higher peak brightness and better light sensitivity. The Pro XL has a larger main wide lens and a more light-sensitive telephoto sensor, allowing for up to 120x zoom. The Fold, on the other hand, has a new 48MP main camera with improved light sensitivity and a 30x Super Zoom.
