HACK ETF Seesaws Amid Growing Cybersecurity Spending
The Betashares Global Cybersecurity ETF (ASX: HACK) has experienced a volatile journey so far in 2026, falling to a 52-week low of A$11.33 in April before rebounding strongly by mid-year.
Despite this volatility, cybersecurity spending continues to grow, driven by the increasing threat of cyberattacks and data breaches.
HACK tracks the Nasdaq CTA Cybersecurity Index, holding around 48 global cybersecurity companies, including pure-play security leaders such as CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks, and Fortinet, alongside larger technology companies with significant security operations like Cisco and Broadcom.
The fund's concentration in a single theme makes its returns heavily dependent on the sector and its largest holdings.
