Faulty Cables Cause Android Auto Connection Issues, Say Experts
Android Auto users often struggle with connectivity issues, but it's not always Google's fault. In fact, many times the problem lies with the USB cable being used.
The company has recently introduced a diagnostic tool called 'USB Startup Diagnostics' that can identify any issues with the cable. This feature is located in the app's settings under 'Connection help.'
Google recommends using the original cable provided with your phone, as it supports data connections. Additionally, short cables are preferred to minimize signal degradation.
Other common problems associated with USB cables include loose fits and dropped connections while driving on bumpy roads. It's essential to secure a consistent connection for Android Auto to function properly.
