Hammond Police Search for Couple Caught on Camera Stealing Wallet

A wallet theft incident at a Home Depot store in Hammond has led to an investigation by local authorities. On September 5th, officers responded to a report of a missing wallet from the West Minnesota Park Road location.

The police investigation revealed that the wallet had been found and then stolen by an unknown couple caught on surveillance footage. According to HPD, the video shows them getting into a white GMC SUV, possibly a GMC Acadia, before leaving the area.

The owner of the wallet later reported unauthorized transactions on their account, prompting further action from law enforcement.
