The Hashgraph Group has placed its IDTrust identity platform on IBM's Cloud Catalog. The move allows enterprise customers to deploy verifiable credentials for AI agents, smart devices, and human users.

IDTrust assigns decentralized identifiers and verifiable credentials to people, machines, and autonomous software. Each actor receives a unique did:hedera identifier registered through Hedera Consensus Service, while credentials are cryptographically signed and recorded through an auditable identity process.

The platform lets enterprises define credentials for particular purposes and revoke them through management tools. AI-agent identities are non-transferable and can require human approval, with revocation registries anchored on the Hedera network.
