Higgidy Lands Brighton & Hove Albion Matchday Pie Contract

Higgidy, a UK-based food manufacturer, has secured a contract to supply matchday pies and sausage rolls for Brighton & Hove Albion's home matches next season. The company will partner with Sodexo, the culinary provider of the Premier League club, to offer a range of locally made pies at the American Express Stadium.

Higgidy's contract includes supplying individual 200g pies in four flavors: Steak & Onion Pie with Gravy, Chicken, Ham & Leek Pie with a creamy white sauce, vegan Chickpea & Spinach Masala Pie with tomatoes, and a guest pie, Chicken Tikka Pie with red peppers. Each pie will be baked in shortcrust pastry and topped with a puff pastry lid.

The contract is set to begin in August 2026, and the partnership may potentially open doors for Higgidy to supply products to more football venues. The company already works with several UK retailers, including Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Ocado, Tesco, Co-op, Asda, Booths, Amazon Fresh, and Boots.
