High-End Routing Equipment Sees 25% Q2 Revenue Surge
High-end routing and aggregation equipment saw significant growth in Q2, with revenue increasing by 25% year-over-year (YoY), according to a report from Dell'Oro. This increase was driven by stronger demand across all regions and customer segments.
The strongest growth came from vendor direct sales revenue to cloud providers, which grew 94% YoY during the same quarter. This is attributed to hyperscalers' push for AI infrastructure.
Cisco maintained its position as the leading vendor in High End Routing and Aggregation equipment, followed by Huawei and Nokia. Core Router revenue also reached a new record level in Q2 2026, with growth at a high double-digit rate for the fifth consecutive quarter.
