Home Depot has launched a major initiative to introduce kids across the US to careers in the trades. The company and its foundation aim to provide 15 million introductions to skilled construction trades by 2032. To achieve this goal, they've designed a free educational curriculum for students aged 11-17 that covers woodworking, plumbing, electrical work, and construction safety.

The Path to Pro Skills Explorers program includes both online modules and hands-on activities and projects. It can be downloaded by educators and organizations, who can then teach it in classrooms, after-school programs, community centers, or at home.

The Home Depot Foundation is awarding over $13 million in grants as part of its Path to Pro initiative. These funds will help integrate skilled trades curricula into the programming of youth organizations across the country. Additionally, Team Depot will assist local nonprofits in delivering hands-on youth activities.
