Home Depot Awards $1.2 Million to Spelman and Clark Atlanta for Campus Renovations

Spelman College and Clark Atlanta University have received campus renovation grants through The Home Depot's Retool Your School program. The program, now in its 17th year, has invested over $15 million in campus improvements since 2009. This year, the two schools were among the recipients of Campus Improvement Grants worth $200,000 each and Innovation Lounge Grants worth $75,000 each.

The ceremony took place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on September 22, where representatives from Spelman and Clark Atlanta University joined other grant recipients. The program aims to support Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and under-resourced colleges by investing in campus improvements that benefit students, faculty, and staff.
