Home Depot CEO Takes Medical Leave Amid Company's Challenges
The Home Depot has announced that its CEO, Ted Decker, will be taking a temporary medical leave of absence. According to the company's press release, Decker is expected to return within the next few months, but no specific date was given.
This news comes as the company continues to navigate various challenges, including changes in cost due to tariffs and oil prices. Despite these issues, Home Depot has been making efforts to expand its delivery services for overseas military families and add rewards for Pro Xtra customers.
In Decker's absence, two long-time executives will take over his responsibilities. Ann-Marie Campbell, senior executive vice president, will oversee the company's day-to-day operations, while Richard McPhail, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will handle its financial management and Pro subsidiaries.
