Home Depot's CEO Ted Decker has taken a temporary medical leave of absence and is expected to return within the next few months. The company's finance chief Richard McPhail and senior executive vice president Ann-Marie Campbell will oversee operations during Decker's absence. This decision was made in alignment with Decker's recommendation, according to Home Depot. Ted Decker has been serving as CEO since March 2022.

Decker joined the company in 2000 and held various senior roles before becoming CEO. He is currently 63 years old. Meanwhile, McPhail has been the CFO of Home Depot since September 2019, and Campbell has held several senior positions across the US business since joining in 1985.
