Home Depot Deepens HVAC Push with New Acquisition

Home Depot's SRS Distribution unit is expanding its presence in the heating and cooling market through a new acquisition of Denver-based Lohmiller & Company.

Lohmiller distributes Carrier products for residential and commercial use from four Colorado locations and employs 220 people.

The acquisition, which was reached through a definitive agreement, is another step deeper into contractor-focused HVAC distribution for Home Depot's SRS unit.

SRS Distribution CEO Dan Tinker said the Lohmiller purchase is strategically aligned with Carrier and will support expansion in the HVAC space.
