Home Depot Foundation Launches Path to Pro Skills Explorers Initiative

The Home Depot Foundation has partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to launch Path to Pro Skills Explorers, an initiative aimed at providing young people with hands-on experience in skilled trades. The program was unveiled on September 17, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia.

According to Jenni Girtman from Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the collaboration brings together three organizations: Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta and Scouting America, alongside The Home Depot Foundation. This partnership is designed to increase access to skilled trades for young people, allowing them to explore various career paths.

The launch event marked a significant step towards providing young individuals with opportunities in skilled trades, such as carpentry, electrical work, and plumbing. By offering hands-on exploration experiences, the program aims to inspire and prepare the next generation of trade professionals.
