Home Depot Holiday Sweater Sells Out Hours After Release
Home Depot has entered the holiday sweater market for the first time this year with its own branded design, complete with a tool belt and various DIY tools.
The orange-and-green knit crewneck sweater features a Fair Isle pattern near its shoulders, along with criss-cross icons of wrenches and screwdrivers on the neckline and sleeves. The tool belt at the bottom half includes a screwdriver, tape measure, pliers, rechargeable headlamp, Command outdoor light clips, and mechanical pencil.
The $29.99 sweater is an 'impressive $150 value,' according to Home Depot, which also comes with a $50 peppermint-scented gift card to purchase additional items from the store.
However, the initial drop of the sweater sold out within hours on Wednesday morning, even with a limit of one per customer. The second drop is scheduled for October 15 at 11 a.m. ET.
