Home Depot Power Tool Heist: Two Men Charged with Stealing Over $4,500 Worth of Goods

Two men, Brian Ayersman and Daniel Houston, have been charged with stealing thousands of dollars in power tools from Home Depot. The incident occurred on Saturday around 5:45 p.m. at the store located on Dutilh Road in Cranberry Township.

Ayersman is alleged to have entered the store and placed nearly $4,500 worth of tools in a cart before Houston joined him. The two men then loaded the stolen goods into a vehicle and left the scene.

According to charging documents, Ayersman and Houston are accused of committing similar thefts at other Home Depot locations, resulting in an estimated total loss of $7,000 in merchandise.

The two men have been charged with two felony conspiracy charges, felony retail theft, and felony receiving stolen property. A warrant for their arrest has been issued.
