Copley Township police in Ohio responded to a felony shoplifting incident at Home Depot on Medina Road around 12:34 p.m. on Wednesday.

Two suspects fled from store security and attempted to leave the area in a silver pickup truck, prompting an officer to initiate a pursuit after they refused to stop for a traffic stop.

The chase was assisted by Richfield Police Department's Pursuit Termination Techniques, and it ended on I-77 in Brecksville without any injuries to the suspects or officers.

The two individuals were arrested and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Copley police are still investigating the incident and expect to file criminal charges.
