Home Depot Speeds Up Delivery with Expanded Express Service
The Home Depot has expanded its express delivery service in the US, utilizing its network of over 2,000 stores as fulfillment hubs to provide rapid shipping. This move allows customers to receive qualifying items within three hours or less for a small flat fee.
The company's EVP of Interconnected Retail, Jordan Broggi, stated that 'Customers expect products to be available when and where they need them, and Express Delivery helps us meet that expectation with a fast, reliable solution.'
Express delivery offers free same-day shipping on orders over $25 placed by 4 p.m., and it delivers more than 65% of in-stock parcel products within one or two days. Approximately 55% of in-stock big and bulky items are delivered within two days.
