Honeywell Aerospace Hit with Class Action Lawsuit Over Alleged Misrepresentations
Honeywell Aerospace Inc., the manufacturer of aircraft components and avionics, has found itself at the center of a class action lawsuit. The suit alleges that Honeywell's top executives made false or misleading statements about the company's business and prospects between June 29, 2026, and September 1, 2026.
The complaint claims that Honeywell failed to disclose issues with its suppliers, which were experiencing supply constraints, and potential violations of the False Claims Act for failing to comply with cybersecurity requirements on government contracts. These misrepresentations allegedly led to a decline in the price of Honeywell Aerospace stock by more than 23%.
The lawsuit further alleges that on September 1, 2026, the U.S. Department of Justice announced that Honeywell had agreed to pay over $2 million to settle allegations of failing to comply with cybersecurity requirements in a U.S. Department of Defense contract.
