Honeywell Aerospace Sued Over Alleged Stock Manipulation
Honeywell Aerospace Inc., a leading manufacturer of aircraft components and systems, is facing a federal securities lawsuit after its stock plummeted 23.16% in a single day.
The complaint centers on two significant stock declines that occurred shortly after the company's spin-off from Honeywell International Inc. on June 29, 2026. On August 6, 2026, HONA fell $47.17 per share to close at $156.47, while on September 1, 2026, it dropped an additional $3.87 per share to close at $154.24.
The lawsuit alleges that Honeywell Aerospace concealed supplier weaknesses and a government investigation before the truth reached the market. According to the complaint, the company failed to disclose that a small percentage of its suppliers had a disproportionate impact on sales and were suffering supply constraints.
