Honeywell Building Automation Segment Sees Significant Growth
Honeywell Technologies' Building Automation segment is experiencing significant growth due to increased demand for its products and solutions. The segment's revenues totaled $2 billion in the second quarter of 2026, up 10% year over year, with organic sales increasing by 9%. This growth can be attributed to higher demand across both product and solution businesses, with products generating $103 million more in organic sales and solutions contributing $59 million more. The segment's strong performance is expected to continue, supported by rising order rates and capital expenditures in data centers and healthcare projects.
The Building Automation segment maintained its momentum in the first half of 2026, with sales increasing by 10% year over year to $3.88 billion, while organic sales grew 8% year over year. This growth is expected to drive future expansion for Honeywell Technologies, providing a solid foundation for continued growth in the coming quarters.
Among Honeywell's peers, 3M Company's Safety and Industrial segment is poised to benefit from strength in personal safety, industrial adhesives and tapes, abrasives, and electrical markets. Carlisle Companies Incorporated's Carlisle Construction Materials segment is also experiencing healthy re-roofing demand and strong commercial execution.
