Honeywell Ends Contract with Lobbying Firm After Defense Spending Focus

Honeywell International Inc. has ended its contract with Etherton and Associates Inc., a lobbying firm, effective June 30. According to a termination filing signed on September 11, Moshe Schwartz, president of Etherton and Associates, represented the company in this matter.

The aerospace and defense contractor reported $18.13 million in lobbying expenses over the past four quarters, with defense issues being a central part of its advocacy portfolio. The firm has 55 active lobbyists and filed 30 defense-related disclosures over the past five years, highlighting the breadth of its federal engagement.

The termination filing disclosed a payment of $50,000. Etherton and Associates represented Honeywell on defense issues from the first quarter of 2023 through the second quarter of 2026, with their most recent active filings focusing specifically on the fiscal year 2027 National Defense Authorization Act.
