Honeywell Fund Boosts Local Student Scholarships with $25,000 Grant

The Friday Harbor Kiwanis Club has announced that the Honeywell Charitable Fund has awarded a $25,000 grant to support scholarships for Friday Harbor students pursuing traditional college degrees or trade school training in 2027.

This marks the twelfth year of the partnership between Kiwanis and the Honeywell Charitable Fund, which has awarded $195,000 in scholarships to 202 students so far. The funds will continue to support local graduates as they take their next steps toward meaningful careers and financial independence.

Kiwanis Scholarship Chairman Jack Rice noted that the partnership with Dave and Nancy Honeywell 'continues to open doors for students of every path, academic or technical.'
