Honeywell to Equip L&T Realty Projects with Smart Building Systems

Honeywell Technologies has been chosen by L&T Realty, the real estate division of Larsen and Toubro, to implement integrated building management systems across its luxury residential and commercial projects in Mumbai and Chennai.

The collaboration will see Honeywell's Integrated Building Management System (IBMS) solutions provide near real-time visibility into daily operations, improving efficiency, energy performance, safety, and occupant comfort. The project also marks one of the first deployments of Honeywell Technologies Forge in Indian housing developments.

Munish Suri, President of Building Automation for Honeywell in India and APAC, highlighted the growing demand for intelligent, integrated technologies in India's evolving real estate sector. He described the partnership with L&T Realty as a strategic milestone, emphasizing the potential of Honeywell Technologies Forge to enhance occupant experiences and simplify building operations.

The Honeywell IBMS system integrates safety, security, video surveillance, and building automation into a single platform. This integration enables faster emergency responses and fewer operational blind spots, allowing potential issues to be addressed proactively. The deployment of Honeywell Technologies Forge adds near real-time performance monitoring, providing ongoing insights into the health and efficiency of building systems.
