HouseCanary, a proptech company, continues to operate despite its Chapter 11 filing. CEO Chris Rediger said the company has signed a national agreement with Google for a listings initiative that will expand nationwide in coming weeks.

The deal is part of HouseCanary's efforts to provide infrastructure for the program through its ComeHome platform and agreements with participating multiple listing services (MLSs). Currently, Bright MLS, California Regional MLS, My State MLS, Permian Basin Board of Realtors, REcolorado, and San Diego MLS are listed as participants.

In a separate matter, HouseCanary is seeking to determine the secured portion of a $43 million claim held by lenders. The company argues that only $85,061.56 of the claim is secured, leaving approximately $42.9 million as an unsecured deficiency claim.
