Houston Marathons Sell Out Months Before Event

The Chevron Houston Marathon and Aramco Houston Half Marathon have reached maximum capacity just over five months before the event, according to organizers. The marathon weekend will take place from January 13-17, 2027, featuring the Chevron Houston Marathon, Aramco Houston Half Marathon, and We Are Houston 5K.

General registration for the Chevron Houston Marathon and Aramco Houston Half Marathon is sold out, leaving only a few Run for a Reason charity entries available in the marathon. These charity entries require registering as a HERO, which comes with a discounted entry fee and a $350 donation to one of the 68 participating charities.

This marks the fastest sell-out since the pandemic, according to organizers. The total number of participants is expected to reach 40,000, surpassing previous records.
