Hurly-Burly Brings Vaudeville Back to Disney's BoardWalk
Hurly-Burly, Disney's BoardWalk's newest eatery, has opened its doors to guests. The restaurant takes over the former JellyRolls location and is now open from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m.
The backstory behind Hurly-Burly is that it was once home to the BoardWalk's most celebrated vaudeville performers, who entertained audiences for decades with their unique variety acts.
Polly Delmar anchored the theatre as the resident headliner among ocean-themed acts. When the tide turned and the theatre had to close, many of the performers left their personal effects behind, dreaming of a revival.
The restaurant is now inspired by this era, with entertainment offerings, vintage drinks, and light bites that pay homage to world-class performances and nautical novelty.
