IBKR Lags Behind in Key Metrics Compared to Wall Street Rivals
Interactive Brokers Group Inc., the parent company of Interactive Brokers, has been compared to other major financial institutions in terms of key ratios and financial metrics.
The comparison, which includes Morgan Stanley (MS), Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS), Citigroup (C), and Charles Schwab Corp. (SCHW), reveals some notable differences between the companies.
Interactive Brokers has a market cap of $159,937 million, while Morgan Stanley's is significantly higher at $336,415 million. In terms of revenue, Interactive Brokers generated $11,107 million in 2022, compared to $126,529 million for Morgan Stanley.
The net profit margin for Interactive Brokers was 10.14%, while Morgan Stanley's was 15.99%. Additionally, the return on equity (RoE) for Interactive Brokers was -20.05%, significantly lower than Morgan Stanley's 18.02%.
