IBM Bolsters Digital Banking with Swift Integration

IBM has strengthened its position in digital banking infrastructure by enabling its Digital Asset Haven clients to connect with Swift's blockchain-based shared ledger.

The company is introducing an on-premises beta deployment that gives financial institutions and other regulated organizations greater control over their digital asset operations.

This integration allows financial institutions to process tokenized deposit transactions using standard ISO 20022 messages, helping banks use existing payment formats and compliance processes while connecting to permissioned blockchain networks.

The solution enables institutions to support tokenized deposits and move digital assets 24/7 before final settlement.
