IBM has made two significant additions to its Digital Asset Haven platform in an effort to simplify the management of digital assets for financial institutions. The company's clients can now connect to Swift's blockchain-based shared ledger through a beta ISO 20022 Messaging Adapter feature.

The adapter allows institutions to process tokenized deposit transactions using standard payment message formats rather than blockchain-specific workflows, making it easier for them to integrate with existing systems.

IBM is also offering an on-premises beta deployment option for Digital Asset Haven, which runs on IBM Z and LinuxONE infrastructure within a client's data center without relying on public cloud services.
