IBM Launches Visakhapatnam Centre to Drive Global AI and Digital Transformation
IBM has opened its new Consulting FutureNow Centre in Visakhapatnam, India to support global AI and digital transformation delivery. The centre will serve as a hub for AI-first cloud transformation and services, platform engineering, service integration, quality engineering, and user experience services. It will also be a key location for IBM's expanding innovation and delivery capabilities in emerging technology hubs across India.
According to Sandip Patel, Managing Director of IBM India and South Asia, 'India has a unique opportunity to lead in the digital era by combining its talent, innovation, and technology capabilities.' He added that the centre will help clients accelerate AI adoption and other emerging technologies that create lasting value. Usha Srikanth, Managing Partner at the IBM Consulting FutureNow Centre in India, stated that Visakhapatnam offers a compelling combination of emerging digital talent, strong academic institutions, and a growing technology ecosystem.
The IBM Consulting FutureNow Centre in Visakhapatnam is one of 15 such centres operated by IBM across India. The company has made significant investments in the country's digital transformation and talent ecosystem, with a focus on expanding innovation and delivery capabilities in emerging technology hubs.
