IBM, SIT Partner on Quantum-Safe Cryptographic Centre
IBM and the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) have partnered to establish a Quantum-Safe Centre, which will focus on developing secure cryptographic technologies.
The centre will be based at SIT's campus in Singapore and will bring together experts from both organizations to research and develop quantum-resistant cryptography solutions.
This initiative aims to address the growing need for secure data transmission as quantum computing advances and becomes more prevalent. Quantum computers can potentially break certain types of encryption, making it essential to develop new, quantum-safe cryptographic methods.
