IBM Stock Price Drops Amid Weaker Midyear Reset Outlook
International Business Machines (IBM) saw its stock price dip by 3.2% on recent market fluctuations.
This decline is attributed to investors still processing IBM's midyear reset, which revealed a lower revenue-growth outlook for 2026 and softer infrastructure trends.
The company's second-quarter release in July downgraded the full-year 2026 constant-currency revenue-growth outlook from more than 5% to a range of 4-5%, sparking concerns that growth has slowed compared to earlier expectations.
