ICICI Bank is set to launch its new ultra-premium credit card, 1838 Reserve, in partnership with the Times group. The card will have a whopping joining fee of Rs 1.75 lakh plus GST, which amounts to Rs 2.06 lakh.

This is significantly higher than the GST component of many other premium cards' annual fees.

The new credit card will compete with other ultra-premium offerings such as the Axis Primus, HSBC Prive, American Express Centurion Card, and HSBC Taj.

There is currently no information available on the possible annual fee for the 1838 Reserve Credit Card or its benefits, reward structure, or eligibility criteria.
