ImmunityBio's stock continued its three-day rally on Monday, rising nearly 7% to close at $10.44.

The surge was fueled by a rare public speech from founder and executive chairman Patrick Soon-Shiong, who called it his 'prelude' to the company's upcoming earnings update due Tuesday.

Soon-Shiong criticized traditional chemotherapy approaches from Amgen and Bristol Myers, saying they often ignore the immune system and can significantly reduce vital cells like NK cells and T cells, leading to lymphopenia.

He argued that the industry-wide strategy of enabling more intensive chemotherapy and managing its side effects rather than addressing underlying immune suppression is flawed.
