Disney Enforces No-Pool-Hopping Policy Across Select Resort Pools

Walt Disney World has stepped up enforcement of its no-pool-hopping policy at some resort pools, including Luna Park Pool at Disney's BoardWalk Resort. According to cast members, guests attempting to access the pool bar will be turned away if they don't have the proper resort credentials.

The move is part of a broader effort to crack down on guests trying to use resort amenities without staying there. While Disney has long restricted pool use to registered guests, enforcement has varied across properties in the past.

At BoardWalk's Luna Park Pool, cast members are now using scanners to verify guests' resort credentials before allowing them into the area. Secondary entrances have also been closed, making it more difficult for non-registered guests to access the pool.

The increased enforcement is notable because it suggests Disney may be applying access controls more consistently across properties. However, it's unclear whether this will become a permanent practice.
