Indianapolis Festivals Bring Family Fun This Weekend
This weekend in Indianapolis offers a wide range of family-friendly activities for kids and adults alike. One of the main events is the Headless Horseman Festival at Conner Prairie, which features carnival games, magic shows, corn mazes, and a Perilous Plunge dry tubing hill.
The festival also includes a Haunted Trail and separately ticketed Headless Horseman Hayride, but parents should be aware that these are designed to scare, so let their child's comfort level guide the evening. Admission prices vary from $26 for non-members to free for members.
Another popular event is the Heartland Apple Festival at Beasley's Orchard, which features five apple cannon shots with admission, a hayride to the pumpkin patch, corn maze, jumping pillow, and other activities. Pick-your-own apples and pumpkins cost extra, with prices starting at $16 for non-members.
For those looking for free activities, Home Depot is hosting in-store kids' workshops on Saturday from 9am-noon, where children can build a small project to take home. Additionally, the Potter's Bridge Fall Festival in Noblesville offers arts and crafts booths, live music, and food vendors.
