iniBuilds Previews A380 Update, Seeks Expertise for Future Projects
iniBuilds has shared details about its upcoming update for the A380 airliner in Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) 2024. The developer is working on version 1.0.1, which will be available next Tuesday pending Microsoft's approval.
The changelog mentions several fixes to various systems, including corrections to PFD airport filtering, STEP DES functionality, and take-off performance calculations. Artwork changes include correcting 'unwanted' or missing geometry and placards, while EFB/OIT changes address a GSX de-icing issue and final loadsheets being sent before fuelling is complete.
Additionally, iniBuilds will be addressing several sound issues, including cockpit pack audio, an incorrect '100' callout following a go-around, and missing autopilot disconnect warnings under certain failure conditions. The developer also mentions that more changes will be included in the final update.
The company is seeking real-world expertise from Boeing and Embraer pilots and personnel to assist with future projects, including the next iteration of the iniBuilds fleet. This may signal an initiative to build something different, but nothing has been confirmed regarding a future project.
