Intel CEO Tan Reveals Surprising Partnerships with Rivals in Semiconductor Industry

Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan has spoken about his relationships with rival executives in the semiconductor industry. Speaking on Jodi Shelton's podcast, 'A Bit Personal with Jodi', Tan described Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang as an old friend and business partner, despite their companies competing in computing.

Tan also referred to AMD CEO Lisa Su as a close friend, noting that she bought three companies from his portfolio. He made similar remarks about TSMC founder Morris Chang, calling him a partner rather than a competitor.

The relationships between Tan and these executives reflect the interconnected nature of the semiconductor industry, where companies can compete in one market while relying on each other elsewhere in the supply chain.
