Iowa Man Completes Bucket List at 89, Passes Away at 97

Lindy Presson, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away at 97 in Brentwood, Tennessee. Born in 1929 in Tennessee, Lindy served in the Air Force from 1947-1950 before attending Bethel College, where he met his future wife Carol. The couple married in November 1952 and spent their lives in Iowa City, with Lindy working for Procter & Gamble for 40 years.

After retiring, Lindy was actively involved in his church and community, teaching, participating in personal work, and serving as an elder for over 50 years. He also enjoyed traveling and completed his bucket list of visiting all 50 states at the age of 89 when he visited Hawaii.
