JNJ Q3 Preview: Analyst Expects Sales in Line, Earnings Below Consensus
Johnson & Johnson's third-quarter fiscal 2027 results are set to be released on November 12. Analyst Jason Gerberry from Bank of America Securities expects the company to report sales in line with consensus estimates, but earnings below expectations.
Gerberry maintained a Neutral rating and raised his price target for JNJ from $263 to $278. He notes that the focus will likely be on several key launches, including Icotyde (psoriasis), Inlexzo and Tecvayli in oncology, and Talc.
The analyst also expects revenue growth of 6% year-over-year, with a 7% increase in Pharma and 4% in MedTech. He raised his peak PsO sales estimate for Icotyde from $2.4 billion to $4.5 billion, reflecting an 18% share.
Gerberry projects Johnson & Johnson's third-quarter and 2026 sales at $70 million and $220 million, respectively, in line with consensus estimates. The company had previously disclosed earnings dilution of 64 cents per share for 2026, most of which would be realized in the third quarter.
