Caterpillar Inc. has agreed to acquire John Fabick Tractor Company, the century-old Cat dealer operating 37 locations across parts of the Midwest.

Fabick Cat serves portions of Missouri and Illinois, all of Wisconsin, and Michigan's Upper Peninsula, providing equipment, parts, service, and related support across construction, infrastructure, agriculture, power generation, and other markets for over a century.

The acquisition remains subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions, with Caterpillar expecting the deal to close within 30 days.

Caterpillar's Chairman and CEO, Joe Creed, stated that 'Caterpillar and Cat dealers share a common mission of solving our customers' toughest challenges.' He added that they look forward to continuing to work with the Fabick team to build on a century of success, further strengthen the customer experience, and drive long-term growth across the service territory.
