JPMorgan Exec Admits Sharing Confidential Info with Epstein
Jes Staley, a former JPMorgan Chase executive, has admitted to sharing confidential and market-sensitive bank information with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Staley made these comments during a July 24 testimony before the U.S. Congress House Oversight Committee as part of its investigation into Epstein's activities.
The committee's transcript reveals that Staley shared details about JPMorgan's communications with the Federal Reserve, pending deals, and his own compensation package with Epstein during the 2008 financial crisis.
Staley claimed he had the authority to share this information and was unaware of Epstein's dark behavior. However, it is worth noting that Staley previously signed documents related to Epstein's trust in 2014 and 2015 without receiving compensation for his work.
