JPMorgan Nears $1 Trillion Valuation with Emerging Tech Edge
JPMorgan is nearing the $1 trillion market value mark, according to analyst Ebrahim Poonawala at BofA Securities.
Poonawala believes investors are still not fully pricing in JPMorgan's valuation premium over other banks and expects it to expand as the firm approaches $1 trillion.
He notes that JPMorgan's combination of scale, involvement in AI, digital-asset efforts, and wealth management positions it for 'superior earnings growth', with Dimon being labeled 'one of the best CEOs in corporate America'.
JPMorgan currently trades at a mid-teens earnings multiple, which is lower than its peers in the trillion-dollar club. The firm's stock has increased by 10% year-to-date and has no sell ratings, only 18 buys and 15 holds, with an average target price of $375.
