JPMorgan Chase has made a strategic move to bolster its global shareholder engagement practice by hiring Amy Lissauer, a veteran executive from Bank of America. According to a memo seen by Reuters, Lissauer will join JPMorgan later this year as the global head of Shareholder Engagement and M&A Capital Markets.

Lissauer's expertise in advising companies facing pressure from activist investors makes her an ideal fit for the role. She will be based in New York and serve as a Global Chair, overseeing JPMorgan's global shareholder engagement practice.
