JPMorgan Trims McDonald's Price Target to $260 Amid Growth Concerns
JPMorgan has cut its price target for McDonald's stock from $280 to $260. This reduction in target reflects JPMorgan's more cautious view of the company's growth pace, following McDonald's investor presentation.
The bank's new target remains significantly above the current market price, which was trading at around $206 on October 2, 2026. McDonald's second-quarter revenue rose 4% year over year to $7.10 billion, while net income increased 5% to $2.36 billion.
The operating picture is more mixed beneath the profit figures, with global comparable sales increasing by only 1.3% in the second quarter of 2026, including 0.8% in the United States. McDonald's next quarterly results are set for October 22, which will show whether lower-priced menus and digital promotions are improving U.S. customer traffic.
