JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon is leading an effort to bring together major U.S. companies to address the risks posed by artificial intelligence, as businesses rapidly adopt the technology.

The initiative expands on the Alliance for Critical Infrastructure (ACI), a group that JPMorgan helped establish, and aims to build a shared understanding of how AI is being used, its risks, and the necessary safeguards. It also involves working with the Trump administration on these issues.

The ACI has been coordinating resilience planning, sharing information, and responding to cyber, physical, and geopolitical threats affecting critical infrastructure since it was founded by JPMorgan, Mastercard, Berkshire Hathaway Energy, and other organizations.

Dimon stated that the ACI leadership recognized the importance of prioritizing AI 'years ago' and got critical infrastructure companies working together.
