The former Coca-Cola East Africa headquarters has been acquired by Jubilee Insurance for KES 1.1 billion, marking a significant milestone in sustainable real estate development.

The building, designed by Triad Architects, boasts an aerodynamic 'ribbon' design that channels natural ventilation and minimizes direct solar radiation onto the glass facades.

This innovative design strategy has been validated by studies from the Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK), which found that the complex recorded the highest passive thermal comfort levels and lowest greenhouse gas emissions among major commercial buildings in Upper Hill.

The building's green roof garden also plays a crucial role in mitigating heat gain, while its 280-kWp solar installation provides all the electricity required during peak daytime operations, effectively removing it from the national power grid.
