Korean Air Finalizes Boeing Deal for 103 Aircraft, Completes Engine Contracts

Korean Air has finalized agreements to acquire 103 aircraft from Boeing as part of its $45 billion U.S. investment plan, announced in August following a summit between the U.S. and South Korea.

The deal is worth approximately $36.2 billion, covering 20 Boeing 777-9s, 25 Boeing 787-10s, 50 Boeing 737-10s, and eight Boeing 777-8F freighters.

Korean Air has also completed contracts with GE Aerospace and CFM International worth around $8.6 billion to purchase spare engines and receive engine maintenance services for up to 15 years.
