Korean Air Lands Record-Breaking 103-Aircraft Deal with Boeing
Korean Air and Boeing have finalized an order for 103 aircraft worth $36.2 billion at list prices, marking the largest deal in Korean Air's history.
The order includes wide-body passenger jets, freighters, and single-aisle planes, with a mix of current and upcoming models from Boeing.
Of the aircraft in the order, only the 787 is currently certified for commercial service, while Boeing is still developing the 777-8 Freighter.
Korean Air said the investment will support long-term fleet expansion following its integration with Asiana Airlines and help improve fuel efficiency as it transitions to newer aircraft models.
